The Henkel logo has a height of 7 building modules including its protection area. The bounding box helps us to place our logo in the right position within the layout.
Depending on the composition, our logo can be placed in three general ways:
The size of the building module depends on the format and its longer side.
Examples
The size of the building module depends on the format section. All formats within a section use the same building module.
Examples
We use the one-unit format to highlight an image and maximize its impact.
Images are used in full bleed.
Text should be left-aligned. The vertical position is flexible.
For more expressive layouts, we create text-image compositions which integrate the headline into the image.
Format splits organize complex content in a layout by using color, font sizes, and image combinations.
The horizontal and vertical segmentation of formats is flexible.
For standard, single-topic touchpoints, we recommend a maximum of three units.
The units can be individually filled with different content. However, each unit needs to have a specific function.
For easier handling, we recommend harmonious proportions of halves, thirds, quarters or sixths to organize content units.
Image units can be additionally split into two parts.
